David Trent Contreras, 74, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away January 20, 2018. He was born in Whittier, California to the late Alphonso W. “Lonnie” and Julia M. (Mangirino) Contreras.

David was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and true friend. He enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family. His mother often said, “David has never met a stranger,” as his nature was always warm, friendly and welcoming. He was known for being kind and always eager to help others.

He is survived by his daughter, Justine (Jay) Flora;grandchildren Rachel (John) Johnson, Aaron Hall, and Shanti Hall; and his great-grandson, Jack.
