David Michael Tunnell, 31, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, July 6. He was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Vernon Jr. and Brenda (Finley) Tunnell.

He lived in the Sweet Home area all of his life. He was a truck driver for Brattain International.

David enjoyed hiking, working out, photography, working on cars and trucks, and rock hunting.

He is survived by sons Dalton Tunnell (12) and Hunter Tunnell (11) of Sweet Home; mother Brenda Finley-Tunnell of Sweet Home; father Vernon Tunnell Jr. of Homedale, Idaho; brothers Vernon Tunnell III and Brandon Tunnell of Sweet Home; grandfather Vernon Tunnell Sr. of Sweet Home; grandmother Fay Tunnell of Sweet Home; grandfather Farrell Finley of Corvallis; and grandmother Alice Griffin of Albany.

A Celebration of Life potluck gathering will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, at 26869 Old Holley Road. The family would appreciate if you would bring any pictures or memories that you have of David.
