David Kragness, 65, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020. He was born in sweet Home to Bradley Omer and Naomi Elaine (Muenchow) Kragness.

David served in the United States Navy from 1973 and was Honorably discharged in 1975. He lived in Portland and Sweet Home.

David married Angel Kragness on October 18, 2006. He was a mill worker and also did iron work. After this, he worked as a Conductor for the railroad for 15 years before retirement.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, music, camping, playing pool, New York Times crossword puzzles, reading, pets, and babies. He loved going on drives and especially loved family get-togethers with all the nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed going to the Bohemian to be with all of his friends.

David is survived by his wife of 26 years, Angel Kragness, of Sweet Home; daughter, Carly Herring, of Corvallis; step-daughter, Heather Burt, of Sweet Home; step-son, Ronald Nelson, of Eugene; siblings, Diane Zavolas, Jim Kragness, Jeff Kragness, and Tim Kragness of Sweet Home; and grandchildren, Logan, Sabria, Chayla, Angelica, Raina, Katie, Lilly, and Keyara.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bradly and Naomi Kragness.

A Celebration of Life Potluck will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 6, at Sweet Home VFW Park.
