David Glenn Coonc, 44, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. He was born in Cottage Grove to David Neil and Caroline Joyce (Ray) Coonc.

He grew up and finished high school in Spokane, Washington. He worked after high school.

David married Shelley Pruett and they lived in the Spokane area until moving to Montana. They later moved to Oregon for better opportunities for their family.

David worked for Safari Motor Coach, and then at Monaco Motor Coach for the rest of his career.

He enjoyed wood working and restoring old cars. He was recently improving his welding skills. He loved working on cars and spending time with his family. He felt that while he was spending time with his family the rest of the world could wait.

David is survived by: his wife, Shelley Coonc of Sweet Home; children, Daniel, Brandy, Amanda, and Cayla Coonc of Sweet Home; his mom, Caroline Coonc of Elma, Washington; and sister, Trina Coonc of Elma Washington.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
