David Curtis “Curt” Whitley, 68, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away peacefully Sunday at home, as he wished. He was born in Presscott, Arizona to James and Vadiena Whitley.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and building and flying remote-control airplanes.

David is survived by: his wife, Vickie Whittley of Sweet Home; daughter, Aubrie Larsen of Sweet Home; sister, Dena Miller of Lacomb, Oregon; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 23, at Lewis Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
