David Charles Rinehart, 76, of Albany, Oregon passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020. He was born in Tacoma, Washington to Leo Charles and Marjorie Mae (Upright) Rinehart.

David served in the United States Army. He lived in Washington, New Mexico, and for the last 50 years he lived in Roseburg and Albany.

David worked for Wah Chang from August 21, 1967 to March 1, 2001.

He enjoyed gold prospecting and being an auto mechanic. He loved German Shepherds.

David is survived by son Timothy and his wife, Marjorie Caldwell, of Albany; granddaughter Laura Ann-Marie Caldwell of Albany; sisters Debra Saldivar of Port Orchard, Washington and Nancy and her husband, Ken Murphy, of Pendleton.

He was preceded in death by sister Jeanette Haller; brother Robert Rinehart; father Leo Charles Rinehart; and mother Marjorie May Upright. Graveside service with military honors will be 11am Saturday July 25th at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Albany. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to SafeHaven Humane Society in Albany.
