Danny “Dan” Clay Aldridge, 64, passed away Wednesday, October 19, at home peacefully in his sleep from complications related to cancer. He was in hospice care for only eight weeks. He was born in Vancouver, Washington to Ted and LaVern (Turner) Aldridge.

Dan graduated from Fort Vancouver High School, and then served in the Washington Army National Guard.

He lived in Vancouver, Washington, St. Helens, and Sweet Home.

He enjoyed playing the piano and watching TV. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Dan is survived by his partner, Dan Warren; sons Clayton and Tyler Aldridge; mother LaVern Rupe; three grandchildren; brother Alan Aldridge and his wife, Jeannie; and sisters Darlene Carson and Deanna Ely. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Aldridge.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, at Jim Riggs Community Center; 870 18th Avenue, Sweet Home, Oregon.

Memorial contributions can be made in Dan’s name to Safeaaven Humane Society in Albany.
