Dale Eugene Reves, 80, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, August 15, 2014. He was born in Pattawatomie County, Oklahoma to Sam M. and Stella M. (Farley) Reves.

He was born and raised in Oklahoma until his family moved to the Sweet Home area in 1948. He returned to Arkansas in 1989 and lived there until returning to Sweet Home in 2012.

Dale met and married the love of his life, Bonnie Jean Reed, in 1952. They were married for 62 years.

Dale loved horses and horseback riding. He enjoyed working in the woods and spending time hunting and on family outings. He loved spending time fishing at the Reves’ homestead in Oklahoma.

Dale is survived by: his wife, Bonnie, of Sweet Home; children, Kathy and her husband Mike Dodge of Sweet Home, Sylvia and her husband Randall Lyle of Wickes, Arkansas, Audrey and her husband Jim Cota of Sweet Home, Gary and his wife Janet Reves of Independence; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: brothers Samuel, Earl, David, Jimmy, and Bert; sisters Juanita and Doris; and his parents, Sam and Stella Reves.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2014 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Sweet Home.
