Connie M. Cross, 62, of Sweet Home, passed away Friday. She was born in Sweet Home to William C. and Mabel J. (Sloan) Medlock.

Connie lived in Holley until she married Lawrence Cross. They moved to Oklahoma, and then, a year later, moved back to Sweet Home where Connie lived the rest of her life.

Connie enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Sweet Home Bowling League. She was a teacher and AWANA leader at Elm Street Baptist Church. Connie enjoyed working in her yard and her flower beds. She loved to sew and crochet and take care of her family and friends.

Connie is survived by: her sons, Tad L. Cross and Shawn M. Cross; grandchildren, Larz Cross, Taya Cross, Courtney Cross, Kyle Cross, Alycia Cross, and Tyler Cross; parents, William C. and Mabel J. Medlock; and brothers, William Medlock and Gary Medlock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Cross in 2010.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
