Cloyd Rhodes, 74, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, February 24. He was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina to Roosevelt and Zonie (White) Rhodes.

He lived in Sweet Home for 22 years.

Cloyd loved working in the woods as a logger. He was a loving, caring, and unselfish husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Denise, of Sweet Home; sons Clint Rhodes and Erick Rhodes of Cottage Grove; step-son Kevin Lairson of Monteray, California; step-daughter Virginia McDonald of Manchester, New Hampshire; sister Linda Woods of Prineville; brother JB Rhodes of Northern California; grandchildren David, Adam, Bradley, and Brandee Rhodes, Clinton Richardson, and Savannah McIntire; step-grandchildren Kaelee, Jessica, and Benjamin Lairson; great-grandchildren Taeler, Levi, Wyatt, Lilee, Valerie, and Bryan Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Cloyd’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at Sweet Home VFW.
