Clifford James Panages, 66, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday. He was born in Hermiston to Clifford Konstintine and Pansy Viola (Ray) Panages.

Jim served in the United States Marine Corp from 1974 until his Honorable Discharge in 1978. He then served in the Reserves from 1978 till 1980.

He lived in Hermiston until 1970 when he bought the Lebanon Farmers Market and moved to Lebanon. Finally settling in Sweet Home in 1979.

He enjoyed helping others, repairing vehicles and log trucks. He loved spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife Faith Panages of Sweet Home; children: Hope Panages of Albany, Heidi Jewell of Sweet Home; siblings: Cathy Langdahl, Sandy Anderson both of Sparks, Nevada; grandchildren: Tyanna-Kai Lowden of California, Cole Lowden, Jayden Lowden both of Kentucky, Karissa Jewell of Sweet Home; one great grandchild Walker Jewell; one son-in-law Jimmy Jewell; two brother-in-laws: Clyde Brigham, Shelby Brigham.

He was preceded in death by his brother Steve Panages; and grandson Tanner Jewell.
Memorial service will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 29th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
