Christina “Chris” Jo Ross, 67, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, March 20, 2020. She was born in San Bernardino, California to Robert Taylor and Peggy Jane (Frazer) Rubidoux.

Chris moved around a lot as a child, but grew up in Riverside, California.She has lived in Kingman, Tucson, and Phoenix, Arizona. They moved to Sweet Home in 1982.

Chris held many jobs throughout her life including cattle woman, cattle rancher, ranch hand, dog groomer and feed store owner. Most recently, she was a school bus driver for Sweet Home School District for over 20 years.

Horse riding, barrel racing and gymkhana were some favorite activities. She loved gardening, dancing, spending time with family, friends and grandchildren. Chris is survived by her sons: Chase Ross of Tillamook, Stormy Ross of Sweet Home; three siblings: Tommy Zoz of San Carlos, California, Mike Rubidoux of Sweet Home, Douglas Seal of Vancouver, Washington; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lawrence Ross in 2019. Memorial service will take place in the future.
