Charley Arthur Brown, 83, of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday. He was born in Toledo, Oregon to Jess and Beatrice (Burgland) Brown.

He served our country in the United States Navy during WWII. Charley was a Seaman 2nd Class and was honorably discharged in 1946.

Charley married Louise DeBord Hammersly on June 6, 1960.

He loved to hunt, fish, and watch NASCAR on TV. He was a gifted woodworker making small toys, boxes, and yard displays.
