Carolyn Louise Olivier-Pye, 79, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, June 5. She was born in Salem to Ralph Ira and and Mary Thelma (Cumming) Alsman.

She went to West Salem High School. She moved to Lincoln City in 1958 when she married Gary and was there until about 2007 when she married Russ. She was the First Woman Member in the Lincoln City Elks Club. She volunteered at events, such as Christmas for Children.

Carolyn enjoyed shopping, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by four children: Jeff Olivier of Milwaukie, Michele McCormick of Sherwood, Tanya Buchheit of St. Paul, Andrea Price of Otis; ten grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren with two on the way.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Pye.
