Carole Cecile Bondesen, 74, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday. She was born in Long Beach, California to Burt and Dorothy (Farrow) Alexander.

She came to Sweet Home from California in 1960. Carole worked for the State of Oregon Budget Department.

Carole was baptized unto Christ in 1962 and was a part of the Highway 20 Church of Christ at the time of her death.

She loved people and sharing God’s word. She enjoyed traveling and camping, especially with family. “My family was my happiest hobby and they are gifts from God.”

Carole is survived by: her son, Gary (and his wife, Dianna) Bondesen of Sweet Home; daughter, Denise Parrish; grandson, Joshua (and his wife, Janine) Bondesen of Sweet Home; granddaughter, Stephanie (and her husband, Joshua) Dahlenburg of Roseburg; great grandchildren, Kyler and Brooklyn of Sweet Home and Bryce and Levi of Roseburg.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Bondesen; her granddaughter; her parents; and her grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2012 at Highway 20 Church of Christ.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
