Carla Jean Gange-McIntyre, 60, of Albany passed away Sunday. She was born in Minot, North Dakota to Carl and Rosemary (Leier) Gange.

Carla moved from Sweet Home to Albany 15 years ago. She worked in Albany until earlier this year.

Carla also provided childcare. She enjoyed ceramics and cooking for her grandson.

Carla is survived by: her son, Chuck and his wife, Shauna McIntyre, of Sweet Home; daughter, Staci McIntyre of Las Vegas, Nevada; mother, Rosemary Gange of Puyallup, Washington; sisters, Bonnie Waite, Karen Applegate, and Faye Miller of Oregon, Cindy Meyers and Candy Chittenden of Washington, Sandy Sell of California, and Brenda Murad of Kuwait; brothers, Chuck Gange of Minnesota, Jim Gange of Tennessee, and Gary Gange of Washington; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by: her father; sister, Patty Correy; and brother, Terry Gange.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Contributions may be made in her memory to Sweet Home High School Alumni Foundation.
