Carl Lee Harrington, 55, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was born in Decatur, Illinois to Charles Lenard and Molinda Rosella (Evans) Harrington.

He served in the United States National Guard in 1983.

Carl lived in Clinton, Decatur, and Chestnut, Illinois before moving to Sweet Home in 1981 with his mom, dad and five siblings.

He worked for U and D Trucking and Nursery, which was his second family.

Carl loved gardening, landscaping, and hunting mushrooms. He enjoyed hanging out with his cat, Buddy, and the family.

He was kind, generous and he loved all he met. He was one of the Best Big Brothers Ever.

Carl is survived by his mother, Molinda Harrington, of Sweet Home; brothers Harold Harrington of Sweet Home and Jamie Harrington of Lebanon; sisters Tina Goss, Tabatha Harrington, and Amy Harrington of Sweet Home; 24 nieces and nephews around Oregon; and several cousins from Oregon, Montana, Michigan, and Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Harrington; step-mother Phyllis Harrington; all his grandparents; uncle Ted Evans; and several aunts and uncles.
