Carl B. Herzberg, 85, of Lebanon passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013. Carl was born April 8, 1927 to Carl and Carol (DeGraw) Herzberg in Bridgeport, Nebraska.

Carl served in the Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. He married Dolores D. Kliewer September 3, 1949. They moved to Lebanon in 1959 and lived there and in the surrounding area until his death.

Carl operated a truck repair business for many years. He enjoyed his retirement years; hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and being with family. Carl was a member of the LDS church since 1972.

Carl is survived by: Dolores, his wife of 63 years; son, Carl A. Herzberg and wife Kathy of Lebanon; daughter, Judie Nesmith and husband Dan of Bend, OR; granddaughter, Kim Cleveland and husband Steve; great-granddaughter, Hailey Cleveland of Lebanon; sisters, Maxine Stevenson of Shasta City, CA and Lila Grindberg of Salem; and 24 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

A viewing will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lebanon. Funeral service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 1013, also at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lebanon. Burial with Military Honors will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Lebanon.
