Candace Lynne Johnson, 49, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Tuesday, July 7. She was born in Key West, Florida to Robert and Christine (Phillips) Judy.

She moved to Oregon in 1985. She lived in Sweet Home until 2013 when she moved into the Lebanon Avamere nursing home where she spent her final days.

Candace was a CNA at various nursing homes. She was raised Catholic and became a Christian in 2014.

She loved to craft with anything she could get her hands on; jewelry, beadwork, figurines, etc.

Candace is survived by: her husband, Robert “Kris” Johnson; son Michael Johnson; daughter Brenda Lynn Kershaw; grandson Merrick Kershaw; granddaughters Kimberly Johnson and Ione “Izzy” Kershaw; and mother-in-law Brenda K. Johnson—all of Sweet Home; mother Christine Garner; sisters Mickey and Beth; brothers Kevin and Timmy; and many nieces and nephews of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert “Bobby” Johnson, in 2013.

The Celebration of Life potluck picnic will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 12, at Northside Park.
