Bonnie Jean Morehead, 78, of Sweet Home passed away Monday. She was born in Lebanon to Wesley Soloman and Lillian Rose (Kliewer) Strubhar.

Bonne graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1962 and lived in Sweet Home her entire life.

She worked for Dr. Dowling in her early married years.

Bonnie was a member of the Highway 20 Church of Christ for many years and was a Sunday School teacher for 24 years. She also played the organ for the church for 60 years.

She enjoyed crochet, knitting and sewing. She loved fishing, camping and hunting with the family.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Roland Morehead; sons: Doug and his wife Dana Morehead all of Sweet Home, Kevin and his wife Katrina Morehead of Lebanon; brother Ron and his wife Linda of Portland; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wes and Lillian Strubhar; brothers: Herb and Gary Strubhar; and granddaughter Larissa Morehead.

Memorial service will be 11:30 am, Saturday, October 15th at Highway 20 Church of Christ, 3025 Highway 20, Sweet Home, Oregon.
