Bobbie Lee Davis, 85, of Sweet Home passed away Friday. She was born in San Diego, California to Gwendolyn (Fowlkes) and Samuel J. Rice Jr.

She lived in Medford while growing up and attended high school there. She lived in Bakersfield, California where she raised a family, before moving to Oregon where she, her mother and sister bought The Mountain House in Cascadia.

Bobbie volunteered with the Oregon Jamboree in the 1990’s. She ran the ticket sales office before moving into crowd management.

Her family was her biggest joy. She loved family gatherings and made sure no one was left hungry. She loved to give gifts. Christmas was her favorite holiday to celebrate. She was always up for a game of marbles as well.

Bobbie is survived by her husband Daryl Davis of Sweet Home; sons: Alain Espourteille of New York, Jesse Garcia of Oregon; daughters: Debbie Barker of Oregon, Peggy Davis of Hawaii, Lisa Larson of Oregon; sister Carolyn Kostman of Montana; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Sheri in 1960.

Celebration of life will be 12 pm – 4 pm Saturday May 8th at Star Attractions in Sweet Home.
