Beverly Nunez, 84, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday. She was born in Hammond, Indiana to Roscoe and Fanny (Hobson) Waddell.

Places she has lived: Indiana till 1955, Los Angels, California 1955 – 1977, Camarillo, California 1977 -1993, Santa Paula, California 1993 – 2013, Sylmar, California 2013-2022, finally settling in Sweet Home February 14, 2022.

Beverly worked mainly in the Aero Space Industry. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ojai, California.

She loved to sing and was part of the Moorpark Chorale. She enjoyed reading, coloring, writing, Elvis and Country Music. She loved being with family and her fur babies.

Beverly is survived by her children: Delores Abramson of Sylmar, California, Anthony Salinas of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, Cynthia Perskey of Sylmar, California, Michelle and her husband Joe Dilts of Sweet Home, Sarah Ann Salinas of Westminster, California; grandsons: James Salinas of Hixon, Tennessee, Tyler Salinas of Franklin, Tennessee, Chris Dilts of Sweet Home, Matt Dilts of Portland; granddaughter Lara Dilts of Sweet Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Salinas in 1996; daughter Laura Lee Salinas in 1964; son Jesse Paul Salinas in 2008; brothers: Robert Waddell in 1981 and Michael Waddell in 1985.

Services will take place in Los Angeles, California.
