Betty spent her early years in Sweet Home where she graduated from high school in 1945. During that same year, she married Robert “Bud” Randolph, and they celebrated 48 happy years of marriage before Bud’s passing in 1993.
In 1947, Betty and Bud welcomed their son, James Randolph, and daughter, Jean (Randolph) Wimer, followed in 1948. The family lived in Sweet Home until 1955, then they moved to Florence. In the mid-70s, Bud and Betty relocated to Anchorage, Alaska where they spent the next 14 years before retiring to Independence in 1988.
