Bertha Juanita Parnell, 79, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. She was born in Watts, Oklahoma to Theodore Lincoln and Julie Ann (Tate) Lance.

She is survived by: her daughter, Cynthia Juarez; brothers, Elbert and Richard Lance; granddaughter, Nicole Jackson; grandson, Eric Steadman; and six great grandchildren.

Bertha was preceded in death by: her husband, Jimmie Parnell; father, T.L. Lance; mother, Julie (Tate) Lance; and grandson, Marvin (Boe) Madden.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
