Viewing will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 29, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brownsville. Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s research.
Barbara “Jean” Cook, age 79, of Brownsville passed away Friday morning at her home. She was born in Anaconda, Montana; the daughter of Eldon and Elizabeth (Goulding) Gledhill.
Jean moved to Brownsville in 1977. She loved cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, David Cook; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Daisy Goodrich; daughter and son-in-law, Suezanna and Glenn Robinson; daughters, Loretta Gilchrist, Linda Chant, Lil Coke, and Lois Kelly; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Gledhill, in 1939; her mother, Beth; and son, David Coke, in 2000.
