Barbara Ellen Morgan, 73, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Sunday, July 24, after a long illness. She was born in Corvallis to Clint and Wilma (Davis) Wischnofske.

She grew up in Blodgett and graduated from Philomath High School.

Barbara married Roy Dean Mintken, Sr., in 1963, which later ended in divorce. She then married Duke Morgan in 1972, and he passed away in 2004.

She was a long-time employee of Oregon State University.

Barbara is survived by her son, Dean Mintken, and his wife of Sweet Home; sister Bonnie of Albany; grandsons Wyatt, Cole and Jesse Mintken, Kyle Sorenson, and Wade Paulus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duke.
