April Hope Lockwood, 53, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, September 17. She was born in Corvallis to Nancy Ellen (Rickard) and Clifford Alton Park.

April grew up in Monroe, Portland, and Molalla. She graduated from Molalla High School. Since then, she lived in Albany, mostly. She loved to crochet, knit. and was an avid reader, sometimes finishing multiple books in one day.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Lockwood, Logan Cardenas, Steven Cardenas, and Velia-Ann Cardenas; brothers, Floyd Calloway, C.J. Park, and Michael Calloway; sisters, Nancy Castro, Sherry Park, Glenda Burt, and Suzanne Reynolds; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. April is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Park and Nancy Calloway, and brother, Merle Park.

Graveside service will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, October 2, at Monroe Cemetery.
