Andrew Dean Rodgers, 56, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. He was born in Indio, California to Ronald and Clara (Shadduck) Rodgers. Andrew spent most of his life in Ontario, California before moving to Sweet Home in 2005.

He was a fork lift driver by trade and an ordained minister. Andrew wrote many religious articles. He enjoyed painting and leather work. He loved teaching from the Bible.

Andrew is survived by: wife, Kathleen; sons, David Rodgers, Robert Rodgers, Ronald Rodgers, Steven Rodgers and Daniel Rodgers; mother, Clara Watts; siblings, Carol Bennet, Larry Rodgers, Lois Fain, Randy Rodgers, Joseph Rodgers and Donald Rodgers; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Ronald L. Rodgers; son, Tommy Rodgers; and brother, Ronald Rodgers, Jr.

The viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Victory Faith Fellowship in Foster. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
