Alice Gail Anderson, 76, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Sunday. She was born in Wright City, Oklahoma to Johnnie and Sentha Rachel (Coran) Harris.

She moved with her family to the Oregon area when she was seven years old. She met and married William E. Anderson when she was 16. Together, they had eight children. That marriage later ended in divorce. Alice moved to California in 1973.

Alice went to Porterville College and worked at the State Hospital as a Pyschiatric Technician Nurse until she retired. She met Dewey Parks in 1978. They returned to Oregon and moved to Sweet Home in 1997.

She attended Holley Christian Church with her family. She loved crocheting hats and scarves for family and friends. She loved family outings, camping, and making sure everyone was well fed.

Alice is survived by her partner, Dewey Parks, of Sweet Home; children William and Lorie Anderson of La Pine, Diane and Robert Daggett of La Pine, Sandra Townsend and partner, Ralph, of Canby, Darlene and Joe Davis of Sweet Home, Edward and Naomi Anderson of Crescent, James and Paige Anderson of Crooked River Ranch, Karen and James Davis of Sweet Home; siblings Delores Groshong, Johnny Dale Thorpe, Barbara DuBray, David Harris, Kennth Harris, Carmen Bostic; 17 grandchildren; 19+ great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son Patrick Norman Anderson; son-in-law Gary Townsend; sister Pamela Rameriz; parents Johnnie and Sentha Harris; and first husband William Anderson.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, at Holley Christian Church. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
