Alfred Dayton Marrs, 73, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was born in Denver, Colorado to Lawrence Henry and Gladys Ethel (Meade) Marrs. He was raised in Canyon City, Colorado and moved to Sweet Home in 1989.

He loved spending time with family and woodworking. He had a passion for his two Allis Chalmers tractors. Alfred worked as maintenance for the Boys and Girls Club of Sweet Home and retired in 2014. His family remembers when he came across someone that didn’t agree with him, his favorite saying was, “They must be brain dead.”

Alfred is survived by his daughters: Tammy and her husband, Randolph Felkins, and Katherine Marrs, both of Sweet Home; siblings: Ida Wilks of Canyon City, Colorado, Rosie and her husband Merle Hermann of Denver, Colorado, Calvin and his wife Lynn Marrs of Sweet Home, Park Marrs of Littleton, Colorado; Grandchildren: Nikki Marrs of Sweet Home and Cody Felkins of Lebanon; Great Grandson, Hunter Jones.He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Marrs; brothers: Bobby and Joseph Marrs; parents, Lawrence and Gladys Marrs.
