Timmy Richard Sharp
June 26, 1961 - December 9, 2022
Timmy Richard “Tim” Sharp, 61, of Sweet Home passed away December 9, 2022. He was born in Eugene to Harold and Jean Sharp. He was the seventh of nine children.
He lived many places through out Oregon as a child. In 1987 Tim made his way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where he started his career as a chef at Jedidiah’s original House of Sourdough near Yellowstone park. In 1988 lightening caused a fire in Yellowstone Park which later became the largest forest fire in State park history. Tim used his skills as a chef to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner to the hundreds of fire fighters that came to fight for Yellowstone Park. While there he met Tina Kiser. They married in 1991 in Sweet Home and in 1995 welcomed their son Patrick.
Tim continued his passion as a chef for twenty three years, in various places between Jackson Hold Wyoming and Sweet Home.
In 2015 he welcomed his Daughter-in-law Rosa joining his family and later 2 beautiful granddaughters, Delilah and Ginger.
Tim was known for his smile and never ending happy attitude to all he met. There was hardly ever a time that Tim would raise his voice or have a harsh word spoken by him. Even in his last days with us he still had a great attitude and a smile on his face, asking where do we go from here?
He will be missed by so many people he met through the years.
He is survived by his loving wife Tina; son Patrick and daughter-in-law Rosa; granddaughters: Delilah, Ginger; brothers: Norman, David and John Sharp; sisters: Delores Dunaway, Doris Nash; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry Sharp; sisters: Ginger Launer, and Kathy Sharp.
Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 22nd at Crawfordsville Calvary Chapel. sweethomefuneral.com
