Steven Allen Rickman, 58, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday. He was born in Portland, Oregon to Daryl and Patricia (Munckton) Rickman. He lived in Estacada, Oregon until relocating to Sweet Home in 2006.

Steven was the owner and operator of a long-haul car hauler for 25 years and also owned his own dump truck service.

He enjoyed building race cars, engines, and anything that involved motors, especially semi’s.

Steven is survived by: his son, Tony, (Melissa) Rickman of Eagle Creek, Oregon; grandsons, Timothy Lewis of Medford and Hunter and Logan Rickman of Eagle Creek; mother, Patricia Rickman of Lebanon; brother, Neil Rickman of Portland; and sisters, Bonnie Rickman of Sweet Home, Carol Conroy of Milwaukie, and Debbie Hodges of Corvallis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daryl Rickman of Portland, and uncle, Allen Rickman of Sweet Home.

A memorial gathering will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 4, at the Rickman home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
