Rosalie Coffey, 83, of Sweet Home passed away Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born October 27, 1940 to George Ray and Georgiana (Blackburn) Gunkel in The Dalles.

She married Dale S. Hurn in 1958, they divorced in 1966. May 27, 1967 Rosalie married William F. Coffey.

She got her RN and BSN Nursing degree from University of Portland. She worked as a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg.

Rosalie is survived by her children: Tim Allen Hurn and wife Mandy of Australia, Cindy L. Rice and husband Daniel of Sweet Home; grandchildren: Robert T. Rice and wife Emily, Jeff D. Rice and wife Trish, Thomas Hurn, Sarah Solt and husband Hunter, Mitchell Hurn, Brogran Hurn, Devlin Carolan; great grandchildren: Jocelyn Solt, Dorian Solt, Aubrey Jane Rice; brothers: Ron and Dan Gunkel of Goldendale, WA; Preceded in death by husband William F. Coffey; sister Rachel Gunkel Pettitt.
