Richard Wesley Keenon, 76, of Albany, Oregon passed away Thursday, December 18. He was born in Hillsboro to Kenneth and Mildred Hergert Keenon.

He was raised in the Sweet Home area with his family. He later married Linda Morton, and they lived in Lebanon. They eventually moved to Lacomb to their family farm.

Richard started working at the age of 14 as a produce manager, which he did for most of his career. Later in life, he worked as a janitor for the Lebanon Community School District until retirement.

He enjoyed working on our family farm, raising cattle and pigs. Every summer, our family would harvest hay out of the field to store for winter. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by: his wife, LInda Keenon; children, Brian Keenon and Deanna Keenon; grandchildren, Matthew Keenon and Justin Keenon; and siblings, Carylin Berg, Leornard Keenon, and Duane Keenon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mildred Keenon, and brothers, Rodney and Larry Keenon.

A graveside service is planned at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.
