Rex Edward Jones, 39, of Sisters, Oregon (and formerly of Sweet Home) passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014. He was born in Seattle, Washington to Bruce and Marjorie (Ambrogi) Jones.

Rex was raised in Everett, Washington until he was an adult, and then he moved to Marysville, Washington. He moved to Sisters, Oregon two years ago.

Rex served four years in the Marines after high school. Rex was a well respected, hard working machinist specializing in the lathe.

He enjoyed NASCAR, crabbing and target practice. He loved playing with his children and hunting with his dad.

Rex is survived by: his wife, April; son Hunter; daughter Courtney; step-son Jerrett of Sisters, Oregon; parents Bruce and Marjorie Jones of Sweet Home; sister Barbara and her husband Neal Bond of Astoria, Oregon; and nephews Kyle and Wyatt.

Mass will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Everett, Washington. A celebration of life will follow in their hall.
