Mary Ann (Kroker) Tunnell, age 63, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday, May 30. Mary was born February 10, 1946 in Lebanon, Oregon to John M. and Irene (Evans) Kroker, Sr.

She graduated in the class of 1965 from Lebanon High School. She married Delbert Tunnell on June 16, 1973 in Sweet Home, Oregon.

She was employed by NORPAC Foods cannery in Stayton from 1988 until 2009 when illness required her to retire.

Mary is survived by: her husband, Delbert Tunnell; children, Warren Tunnell of Salem, Delbert Joe Tunnell of Lebanon, and Cindy Andrews of Salem; brothers and sisters, Anna Kroker Massingale of Tuskasagee, NC, J. Mearl Kroker of Lebanon, Roy C. Kroker of Scio, Ivan J. Kroker of Albany, and Linda L. Talbert of Salem; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George R Kroker.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Gilliland Cemetery.
