Lyle Birky, 78, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Sunday, April 19. He was born in Creston, Montana to Elmer and Anna (Lapp) Birky.

Lyle lived in both Montana and Oregon. He was a logger and member of the Mennonite Church.

Lyle enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and riding ATVs

He is survived by: his wife, Simone; sons, Bill and Rich; daughter, Theresa; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Lyle was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon, in 2013.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 15, at the Sweet Home Mennonite Church; 1266 44th Avenue.
