Linda Sue Garber, 62, of Lebanon passed away Friday. She was born in Lebanon to Lyle and Dorothy King.

She lived in Sweet Home until 1973 when she moved to Lebanon.

Linda was involved at Sweet Home Mennonite Church, playing organ, leading children’s musicals, and teaching Sunday school. She had also served at East Linn Christian Academy and at the Mennonite Central Committee Fall Festival Country Store.

She enjoyed flower gardening, crafts, scrapbooking, and card making. She assisted in planning and coordinating weddings for friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by: her spouse, James Garber of Lebanon; children, TJ and Shawn Garber of Albany, Trent and Lindsey Garber of Albany, Travis and Mallorie Garber of Turner; mother, Dorothy King of Lebanon; brothers, Don and Erna King of Albany, Mike and Sandra King of Lebanon; five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle King, and brother, Duane King.

Viewing will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Gilliland Cemetery. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Sweet Home Mennonite Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
