Larry Dean Turley, 71, of Foster passed away Sunday. He was born in Bird City, Kansas to William S. and Florence (Boyington) Turley.

His family settled in McMinnville, Oregon when Larry was a child. As a young man, he started driving truck in Happy Camp, California for his brother. He returned to Oregon in the late seventies, where he settled in Sweet Home and drove for local trucking companies.

Larry loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and cutting firewood. In the last ten years, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and working on his pickup.

Larry is survived by: brothers, Bernard Turley and Dwayne Turley; children, Laura and Kelly; stepchildren, Janie Morgan, Jimmy Ginn, Joey Ginn, Julie Crockett, Johny Ginn, Lenora Wallace, and Kenny Adair; 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Turley, parents, and five siblings.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
