Jonathan David Harper, 40, a longtime resident of Eugene passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012. He was born in Lincoln City to Dr. H. Ronald and A. Darlene (Block) Harper.

He married Rolinda Dick in June 1995 in Eugene. They divorced in 2011. Jonathan worked for University of Oregon Housing as a custodian. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eugene. Jonathan was an avid reader and enjoyed board games, hiking, and camping.

Jonathan is survived by: his sons, Joshua Harper of Rocklin, California and Jonathan Dick of Eugene; daughter, Helena Harper of Rocklin, California; parents, Ron and Darlene Harper of Eugene; and brother, Stephen Harper of Benecia, California.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 4, at First Baptist Church, 3550 Fox Meadow in Eugene.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
