Jesse Lee Barnes, 57, of Cascadia passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at his summer residence at Lake Billy Chinook. He was born July 11, 1967, to Danny and Faye (Nonemaker) Barnes in Lebanon, Oregon.  
   
He graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1985. Jesse enlisted in Navy with an Honorable Discharge in 1992. After spending 4 years on the USS Haleakalā in Guam as an underwater welder. Jesse and his wife Lori were married for 25 years. 
 
Jesse loved fishing in his boat especially for bull trout at Lake Billy Chinook. He enjoyed hunting especially in the Silvies unit where his grandpa hunted for many years. He loved spending time with his two granddaughters who he adored and they loved spending time with their “Pappy”. Jesse had a wonderful sense of humor and made everyone around him smile.  
   
Jesse was a Mechanical Piping Construction Manager. He worked all over the United States with the last 15 years at the International Paper in Springfield, Oregon.  
   
Jesse is survived by his wife Lori, son Brent (Jessica) Putney, granddaughters Aubrie and Emalee Putney, parents Danny and Faye Barnes, brother Mike (Missy) Barnes, sisters Kathy (Jeff) Freeman and Shanna (Brad) Middaugh, sister-in-law Karen Lee, Niece Brittney (Jason) Dearborn, nephews Chris (Amber) Barnes. Matt (Kristen) Barnes, Steven and Jo Middaugh.
