Jayden Alan Turner
June 12, 2012 – July 3, 2024

Jayden Alan Turner, 12, of Sweet Home went to join our Father in Heaven unexpectedly on July 3, 2024. He was born June 12, 2012 in Lebanon to Esther Turner and Scott Alan Turner. He was the blessing they had been praying for. Jayden loved to live life to the fullest and had this big soft heart.

Jayden lived in Scio from birth until 2021 where he attended preschool in 2015-2016 at Lollipop Lane Preschool. He attended Scio Centennial Elementary from Kindergarten thru Second grade. He then attended Lourdes Charter School starting in 2020. In 2021, Scott and Esther moved to Sweet Home to a larger property where Jayden loved spending time outside riding his bike, driving his side by side, and playing in their pool. He continued attending school at Lourdes and had just finished the 6th grade. He excelled there and his parents made sacrifices to drive the three hours round trip each day to see him thrive in his schooling with the help of wonderful teachers.

Like a typical boy, he loved his Xbox games, Fornite, Roblox, and Minecraft. He had a passion for racing RC cars and building everything with his large Lego collection. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, swimming in their pool, playing soccer, basketball, and riding quads. His soft heart had a love for all animals. He had several dogs growing up and the love he had for them was so special. Jayden loved so many, and was loved by so many more. Most importantly, Jayden had a deep love for his mom and dad and cherished the time they spent making memories.

Jayden is survived by his mother, Esther Turner of Albany; father, Scott Turner of Sweet Home; sister, Hannah Turner of Albany; grandmother, Sandra Aguilar of Miami, Florida, grandparents, George and Connie Turner of Albany; great grandmother, Colleen Cooley of Albany; and lots of aunts and uncles and cousins whom also live in Albany, Miami and Louisiana.

Celebration of Jayden’s Life will be 10 am Thursday, August 1st at the Amphitheater at Community Chapel, 42250 Ames Creek Rd., Sweet Home. The family extends an invitation for all to come. A live broadcast of the memorial will be available for those unable to attend.
