Iva Louise Sparhawk (Pollock)

Iva Louise Sparhawk, 73, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. She was born in Port Angeles, Washington to Robert Leonard and Gladys Jessie (Mickelson) Pollock.
She married Kenneth D. Sparhawk on August 23, 1954 in Eureka, California. Their family traveled with Kenneth’s employment. They settled in Sweet Home in the 1960s.
Iva enjoyed meeting people as she sold Avon products. She was part of a Sweet Home ladies bowling league. Shopping networks were an addiction of hers. She loved trips to the coast, playing video games with her grandchildren, watching her soap operas, and shopping at Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta and her husband Michael Moore of Sweet Home, Sharon Stredwick of Sweet Home, Gwen Sparhawk of Sweet Home, and Charles and his wife Michelle Sparhawk of Kenai, Alaska; grandkids (nicknames) Peaches, Punker, Muffler, Cassi-lou, Benny-haw-haw, Brittser, Hanna-banana, and Katie Dids; and eight great grandkids.
Iva was preceded in death by: her husband, Kenneth D. Sparhawk; brother, Robert M. Pollock; and parents, Robert L. and Gladys J. (Mickelson ) Pollock.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
