Ina Dunaway, 77, of Sweet Home died Friday at the Oregon Health & Science University hospital in Portland, Oregon. Ina was born in Eugene, Oregon to Walter and Martha (Archerd) Westbrook.

Ina was a homemaker for the better part of her life. She also worked at Whites Electronics in Sweet Home.

Ina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She left her family to go home to be with our Father and her loving husband.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Clark of Drain, Juanita Finnell of Terrebone, Audrey Beaver and Joy Kleiven of Sweet Home, Vicki Sorenson of Lyons, Martha Sylvester of Bend, and Tracy Johnson of Lebanon; sons, Ron, Jr., and David of Sweet Home, Francis of Dallas, Gary of Lebanon, and Don of Salem; 32 grandkids and 28 great grandkids; her sister, Wilma Denue; brothers, Floyd, Harold “Punk,” and Wayne Westbrook; best friend, Sue Lawerance Blogett; and her five lunch buddies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne, Sr., and her grandson, Matthew Rowe.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, at Sweet Home Christian Church.

Memorial contributions can be made in Ina’s name to Sweet Home Christian Church in Sweet Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
