Glen Edward Gill, 60, of Sweet Home passed away November 24, 2023. He was born to Virgil Edward and Ramona (Barr) Gill on November 26, 1962 in Lebanon.

He has lived in Sweet Home his entire life. Glen worked at Smurfit for over 20 years as a mill worker. He then went to Clayton Homes in Albany as a material handler for over 10 years until he retired.

Glen liked to fish, hunt, go camping, enjoy the outdoors and spending time with his grandkids and family. He also loved sports.

He is survived by his children, Jasmine and Jacob Darcey of Sweet Home, Haily and Bryant Darby of Lebanon, Zachary Gill of Topeka, Kansas, wife of 33 years Shalene Gill of Sweet Home, sisters: Gina Bentley and Gail Rice both of Sweet Home, brothers: Greg and Sandy Gill of Albany, Gary and Val Gill of Lebanon, grandchildren: Jeremiah Gill, Kerra Darcey, Jreson Darcey, lots of nieces and nephews, his dogs Jack and Midnight. Preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Ramona Gill.

Viewing will be 12 pm Thursday December 7th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral will follow at 1:30 pm. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Crawfordsville. There will be a gathering for family and friends at 4pm at The Rusty Bucket. Donations to help with funeral expenses can be made to the funeral home.
