Fern Mildred Martin, 90, of Sweet Home passed away Monday, May 6, 2024. She was born on September 9, 1933 to Violet L. (Fisher) and Chester Hopkins in Minnesota.

She came to Oregon at a young age grew up in Clatskanie. Fern enjoyed gardening and quilting.

She is survived by her children: DD (Jim) Harris, LoraLee (Jim) Neuschwander, Dawn (Steve) Lincoln, Becky (Blaine) Anders; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Jess Martin; and son, Joel J. Martin.

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Monday, May 13th at Lewis Cemetery. A reception will follow at the New Life In Christ Fellowship Activity Center, 1266 44th Ave. Sweet Home. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
