Faye Jones, 76, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was born in Seattle, Washington to Issac and Lillian (Carlson) Provo.

She grew up in Seattle. Faye married James “Art” Jones on December 29, 1956 in Woodinville, Washington.

They came to Sweet Home in 1957 following a job at a mill for Art. Faye worked at Hawthorne and Pleasant Valley schools as a custodian.

She enjoyed plants, visiting Goodwill, and shopping for treasures.

Faye is survived by: her husband, Art Jones of Sweet Home; daughter Diane (and her husband, Jon Smith) of Mill City; grandchildren Michelle, Lynzee, Heather, Phil (and his wife, Fawn), and Jennifer Robinson; and great grandchildren Endya and Ryan Robinso and Savannah and Cilous Robinson.

She was preceded in death by: her daughters, Candy Jones and Lori Robinson; eight brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
