A graveside funeral service will be held for Elaine Mae Anderson at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Twin Oaks Cemetery.

Elaine passed away at the age of 78 after an extended Alzheimer’s illness.

Elaine was born one of four children to Roy and Rowena Armstrong in Loveland, Colorado. Elaine married the love of her life, Wayne Anderson, on August 15, 1954. They lived most of their married life in Corvallis.

She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and raising her three children. They created Anderson Nursery, now Anderson Blues in north Corvallis.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Anderson, and her sister, Rosalie. She is survived by: her children, Beth Snyder/Dave, Todd Anderson/Paula, and Lacey Duncan/Bill; grandchildren, Ashley, Riley, Jacob, and Deanna; and great grandchildren, Anderson and Hunter; and brothers, Russ and Leroy, and their spouses.

The family would like to thank the staff of Benton County Hospice and Twin Firs Adult Foster Home for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Benton County Hospice.
