Douglas Ray Fegles, 45, of Sweet Home passed away Monday. He was born in Florence, Oregon to Donn Jasper and Rosalee Rae (Swigert) Fegles.

Doug resided in Sweet Home since 1996. He was a member of the Sweet Home Elks Lodge and the Sweet Home Veterans Club.

Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun smithing, motorcycles, trap shooting and helping others. He loved camping with his family at Long Creek.

Doug is survived by: his wife, Ronda Fegles; their dog, Ellie; father, Donn Fegles (and his wife, Sally) of Chiliquin; mother, Rosalee Cavitt of Florence; brothers, Ernie Fegles of Reedsport and Bob Fegles of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Casey Fegles, and step-father, Warren Cavitt.

In Doug’s memory, his family asks that we all practice “random acts of kindness” whenever possible.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, at the Elks Lodge in Sweet Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
