Donald J. Bushnell, 79, of Sweet Home, died on Monday, June 18, 2007. He was born on May 11, 1928 in Minot, ND; the son of Raymond George and Alta Leona (Boomhower) Bushnell.
He entered the United States Navy serving during WWII from 1944 to 1946. Working as a truck driver all his life, Donald lived all over the United States, with the past few years spent in Oregon, Washington, and Arizona. Donald enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and his family. He was devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather.
Donald is survived by children: Bill of Vernon, AZ, “Skipper” (Don, Jr.) of Covington, WA, Leonard, Frank, and Russell all of Port Angeles, WA, Brian Micheau of Walla Walla, WA, Connie O’Malley of Sweet Home, Kathy Miller of Montesano, WA, Tammy Micheau of Aberdeen, WA, Penny Vincent of Renton, WA, Misty Bushnell of Aberdeen, WA, Susan Zink of Port Angeles, WA; brothers: Ray of Minot, ND and Ralph of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters: Josephine Chapel of Troy, MT and Mary Otis of Kirkland, WA; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Marlene, brother, Wally, and siste, Betty, all precded him in death.
